The trailer, though brief, is loaded with recognizable locations, cultural cues, and unmistakable South Florida vibes.

The trailer opens with protagonist Jason Duval picking up his partner Lucia Caminos from a correctional facility. But instead of a redemption arc, the couple appears ready to dive back into a life of crime — cue the high-speed chases, yacht heists, and pool parties.
Fans Spot Real Miami in Digital Vice City
As the two-and-a-half-minute clip races forward, eagle-eyed fans spotted scenes that echo real-life locations: Little Haiti-style murals, Ocean Drive nightlife, Metromover glimpses, and even a nod to Lummus Park weightlifters. One frame even teases a fictional football team, the Miami Manatees, with jerseys in unmistakable Dolphins teal.
Rockstar clearly studied the streets. From late-night South Beach pools that scream “Clevelander” to gritty industrial corners resembling Allapattah, the game is shaping up to be the most Miami-coded version of Vice City yet.
A Delayed Launch and Sky-High Expectations
The bad news? The game’s release has been pushed to May 2026, despite an original 2025 target. Rockstar cited their “high standards” as the reason for the delay. Still, anticipation remains high, especially given GTA’s record-setting sales history and fan loyalty.
