A Festival With Heart in Historic Overtown

Since 2014, the Overtown Music & Arts Festival has been a vibrant tradition in the neighborhood. This year’s version takes a more community-centered approach, bringing the vibe of an old-school block party with a mix of live performances, DJ sound clashes, youth-friendly zones, and mouthwatering local eats.

Whether you’re a longtime supporter or joining for the first time, this event feels less like a concert and more like a homecoming.

Live Music That Moves You

Get ready for big voices and even bigger vibes. This year’s main stage lineup features:

  • Estelle – Grammy Award-winning powerhouse behind “American Boy”
  • Melanie Fiona – Two-time Grammy winner with smooth, soulful hits
  • Tito Puente, Jr. – Carrying on the iconic Latin jazz legacy
  • Carl Thomas – Bringing that early 2000s R&B nostalgia
  • And more special guests to come…

These performances promise soulful sounds, timeless anthems, and Miami-made rhythm that’ll have the whole park dancing.

Five DJ Sets Infinite Energy

Between the live acts, don’t miss high-energy DJ battles and curated sound clashes across five themed sets:

  • MIA: Miami Sound Clash – A tribute to the city’s iconic music roots
  • Who’s Era – A throwback trip through the 80s, 90s, and 2000s
  • Island Heatwave – A sonic showdown of Afrobeat, Dancehall, and Latin vibes
  • The Sample Set – Old-school bangers and new-school flips
  • The Doo-Wop Set – Classic soul, harmony, and feel-good nostalgia

No matter if you’re repping Trick Daddy or vibing to Vybz Kartel, there’s a set that’ll hit your musical sweet spot.

A Youth Zone That Brings the Fun

Families with kids are in for a treat. The Youth Zone is packed with fun activities like:

  • A full-size gaming truck
  • Mini golf, giant games, and inflatable bounce zones
  • Hands-on arts & crafts, live demos, and surprise giveaways

It’s the kind of all-day playground that lets kids run free while grownups enjoy the music and food.

Come Hungry: The Food Is the Star

Yes, the music is amazing—but the food lineup is a festival of its own. Expect everything from iconic Overtown eats to bold new bites:

Think fried lobster tails, garlic crabs, jerk chicken, and BBQ ribs, alongside comfort dishes like smash burgers, Hibachi bowls, and soul food sides. Craving something sweet? Cool off with Italian ice, frozen lemonade, soft serve, and fun nostalgic treats like candy kebabs and cotton candy.
