South Florida Rallies for May Day 2025 Protests Against Trump’s Labor Policies

· · · · ·

South Florida residents will hit the streets this week as part of a nationwide wave of May Day 2025 demonstrations opposing what organizers call President Donald Trump’s “war on working people.”

Protesters Call Out “Billionaire Takeover” of Federal Government

The protests aim to spotlight concerns about corporate influence in government, cuts to public services, and attacks on labor rights. Organizers say they’re rallying against a system that favors “billionaire profiteers” over everyday Americans.

“We are demanding a country that puts our families over their fortunes — public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds,” a statement on the May Day 2025 website reads.
