Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld Tie the Knot in Private Southern California Ceremony
NFL star Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld are officially married, capping off a two-year romance with a secret wedding in Southern California on May 31, 2025.

While the couple kept their wedding date and location under wraps, photos of the celebration surfaced over the weekend, confirming the long-rumored union. Steinfeld wore a strapless white gown, and media outlets shared images of the newlyweds sharing a kiss and walking down the aisle.
A Love Story That Began in 2023
Allen and Steinfeld first made headlines in Spring 2023, after being spotted dining together in New York City. Since then, the two have been seen together at numerous high-profile events, including Bills home games and the NFL Awards, where Allen thanked Steinfeld during his MVP acceptance speech.
The quarterback proposed to Steinfeld in November 2024, during the Bills’ bye week. The romantic proposal happened on a cliff in Malibu, complete with a flower arch, candles, and a Pacific Ocean backdrop.
Bills QB Stays Focused Amid Wedding Plans
Despite wedding prep, Allen remained committed to his team. He attended voluntary OTAs in Orchard Park last week, just days before the big day. When asked about any pre-wedding jitters, Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said Allen remained “calm, cool, and collected” and praised his leadership.
Dion Dawkins, the Bills’ left tackle, accidentally spilled the wedding date back in March before quickly walking it back. Still, the couple managed to keep most details under wraps until now.
What’s Next for the Newlyweds
Allen, who turned 29 last week, is preparing for his eighth NFL season. He recently signed a $330 million contract extension. Steinfeld, 28, continues to build her acting career, with recent appearances at premieres and a leading role in Sinners.
Their marriage marks a new chapter for one of sports and entertainment’s favorite power couples.
