Once the lights dim, the screen comes alive with a curated selection of short films made by Floridians or in Florida. And it doesn’t stop at watching. After the screening, featured filmmakers hit the stage for a Q&A, delving into what inspired their work and how they made it happen.
A Jury Picks the Night’s Best
At the end of the night, a jury of industry professionals will name the winning film based on technical skill and artistic merit. It’s a chance for emerging creators to walk away with more than applause—they get recognition that could help launch their careers.
